Rogers JROTC
For the last several years, Manito Lodge #246 has had the privilege of awarding a $500 scholarship and $500 toward the purchase of a Letterman's jacket to 2 deserving cadets from the Rogers High School Air Force Junior ROTC program.
We would like to be able to present these awards again in 2010; but we are asking for the assistance of the membership in order to make this happen. If within the length of your cable tow, please consider making a $20 contribution so that we may continue rewarding deserving cadets for their achievements. Please send contributions by June 7 to: Manito Lodge #246 F&AM, 2715 S Grand Blvd Spokane, WA 99203 Attn: Rogers JROTC. Please put Rogers JROTC on the memo line of your check, and thank you for your consideration!
JGW CANDIDATE FORUM SUCCESSFUL
Approximately 30 Masons were in attendance as Manito Lodge #246 held its first ever Junior Grand Warden Candidate Forum during its May stated meeting on Monday, May 10.
Four of the 5 Junior Grand Warden Candidates, John Sleeth, John Booth, Cary Cope and Dave McCuistion were on hand to answer questions about why they wanted to be Junior Grand Warden, their perspectives on the direction of Masonry and what they hope to accomplish once installed as Grand Master. The Lodge would like to thank each of the candidates for taking time from their busy schedules to participate in the program.
